ABOUT ChemEditors
Successful research requires the execution of a well-constructed experimental procedure, an unbiased analysis of the outcomes, and clear and concise reporting. Although many researchers are very capable of conducting the first two of these three criteria, the impact of what may be very high quality research can be lost in poorly written papers. With the emergence of English as the international language of science, researchers who do not use English as their first language are at a disadvantage in communicating their results to the research community. Text that contains mistakes, runs with an awkward structure, or fails to clearly explain key points can be distracting and can lead to the reader forming dubious regard for the technical content.

ChemEditors provides a convenient service that enables researchers from non-English-speaking backgrounds to present their findings to the international research community in the style of a native speaker. This will result in more favorable reviews prior to publication, a more prolific publication list, and more time to conduct research.

ChemEditors is a professional editing and rewriting service that is operated by highly qualified and experienced scientists in Australia. Specializing in the review of chemistry documents that are written in English, ChemEditors was formed in response to the needs of the Japanese chemical research community for specialist editing skills. All of our editors have experience as technical copy editors and are dedicated to providing a service of the highest quality.

Dr Schultz has worked in a diverse range of chemical industries including gold mining, copper refining, and sugar processing. He has a BSc honors degree in inorganic chemistry (1991) from James Cook University and a PhD degree in supramolecular/organic chemistry (1998) from the Centre for Molecular Architecture at Central Queensland University. He has publications in peer-reviewed international journals including Angewandte Chemie International Edition in English, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Journal of the Chemical Society Dalton Transactions, Chemical Communications, Tetrahedron, Synletters, and Inorganic Chemistry. He has taught as an English language instructor in Japan and has worked as a copy editor for Springer-Verlag Tokyo in both freelance and in-house capacities.
